Thank you for contacting the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment regarding your Grievance. Your concerns are important to us. Please fill out this form as completely as possible to help expedite our determination. Please be aware that the information you are submitting is subject to the California Public Records Act.

We will NOT be able to respond to your Grievance unless you provide a valid email or mailing address.

The purpose of the censure process is to place a Board member on notice of misconduct and to provide the Board member with an opportunity to correct misconduct. There was no misconduct proven by the motion and no final conclusion on a specific conduct that needed to be corrected.

Please review all of the comments of the stakeholders and the witnesses.

Remedy

1) Warning to the Neighborhood Council board, individual board member, or, members.

2) Required corrective action of the Neighborhood Council.

3) Mandated training for the Neighborhood Council, individual board member, or, members.

4) Required mediation for the Neighborhood Council board, individual board member, or, members.

5) Suspension of Neighborhood Council board until mandated trainings are taken by board, board member, or, members.

6) Temporary suspension of Neighborhood Council Funding.

7) Placement of the Neighborhood Council board under control and supervision of the Department.

8) Suspension of individual board member or members.

9) Initiation of de-certification process or process to declare board seats vacant.

Please state why you are seeking the above mentioned remedy or remedies.

On September 9, 2020, I was censured by the Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council at a General Meeting.
I do not feel the board censure fell within the guidelines of censure.
I would like you to review the censure thru the zoom information given above along with witness statements, and the supporting documents.

The Uniform policy for Board Member Censure
It is important that you please review the 2 meetings thru recorded ZOOMs listed in the above alleged violation section.

3 Board members censured me with no proof of any bi-law, code of conduct or ethics violations. The DONE Rep had no opportunity to comment or provide guidance during any part of the censure procedure. When you listen to the tapes, you will have no choice but to dismiss this motion and censure. They didn't meet the burden of proof.
They also, outside of the motion, but in the discussion of the censure, they accused me of PREDJUDICE, ANTI-SEMITISM AND RACISM without cause or evidence. I will here and also with he City Attorney, Elise Ruden. These are very serious accusations to make when they have absolutely no proof of any such atrocity on my part.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies�in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Quickbase will send a report of the events currently displayed on your calendar.
