A Grievance must be filed within 30 days from the date of the event giving rise to the Grievance.  Any Grievance alleging a violation relating to Neighborhood Council funding must be filed within 90 calendar days of the date the expenditure is made.
Brown Act Violation
Meeting agenda must be posted in public view for at least 24 hours prior to meeting.

The Sunland Tujunga Neighborhood Council proceeded with a "Special" meeting on the above date at 7PM to seat the new elected Board members.  In addition to seating the newly elected Board, a number of finance/budget items were agendized , as well as Committee membership formation.  The Brown Act clearly states that "Special" meetings of the Board require a public posting of the agenda at least 24 hour prior to the meeting.  I as a stakeholder, and Board member know of no such posting.  No such posting was confirmed by stakeholder Georgia Brown, outgoing Board member Janelle Hussion, incumbent Board member Sandy Capps, as well as incoming Board member Glen Belt on 5/15/2019 at different points across the day of 5-15-2019.  Photograghs of postings in their customary proper place were taken but do not include the "Special" Board meeting.

I am additionally requesting the any an all votes taking place in the Board meeting and their respective BAC's be vacated effective immediately.
The newly elected Board members did not have adequate time to inspect and research an agenda item the Executive Committee unilaterally opted to include in the agenda.  Stakeholders did not have adequate time to review and educate themselves on agenda items included to comment on.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
