A Grievance must be filed within 30 days from the date of the event giving rise to the Grievance. Any Grievance alleging a violation relating to Neighborhood Council funding must be filed within 90 calendar days of the date the expenditure is made.

At the 5-15-19 board meeting voting on Agenda Item #6: Designation of Bank Card Holder and Secondary Signatory.
The vote was not counted correctly.
Cindy Cleghorn said� 7 yes 7 nos. It is a tie so it does not pass�. I personally asked Nina Royal if she voted as she was ineligible to vote. The count sheet shows Ninas vote as a NO then it is scratched out yet it was still counted as a NO vote. The actual count is 7 yes 6 no and this item should have and did pass.
I request that the Board slow down when doing vote counts and make it mandatory that the board answer stakeholders and board members questions when there is confusion on agenda items and counts. Agenda items need to be more specific also. This agenda item had changes yet those were not brought up to be voted on. I would like to see this whole agenda item redone at the next meeting. I would recommend special training for the President and Secretary as the 2 seemed to rush over this agenda item to cover up most peoples confusion on what actually was being voted on.
I have the actual count sheet if it is needed.

The votes were counted wrong causing an agenda item to not pass when in fact it did pass. Secretary and President did not and would not answer stakeholders and board members questions and concerns regarding this.

6) Temporary suspension of Neighborhood Council Funding.

7) Placement of the Neighborhood Council board under control and supervision of the Department.

8) Suspension of individual board member or members.

9) Initiation of de-certification process or process to declare board seats vacant.

Please state why you are seeking the above mentioned remedy or remedies.

All Board Member should have the mandated training before any more meetings are held. To much confusion regarding who was eligible to vote and who was not. Second VPs vote was used to not pass an agenda item when in fact she was ineligible to vote. How are meetings being held when our 2nd VP has not done her training?
Training needed to teach those leading the Board to be more patient when stakeholders and board members are confused on Agenda items and if they cant answer the questions asked of them then there is a bigger issue going on.
