A Grievance must be filed within 30 days from the date of the event giving rise to the Grievance.  Any Grievance alleging a violation relating to Neighborhood Council funding must be filed within 90 calendar days of the date the expenditure is made.
Article 14 Section 1:  Code of Civility – Council ... representatives, and all Community Stakeholders shall conduct all Council business in a civil, professional and respectful manner in accordance with the Council’s Code of Civility at all public meetings...

The President (Paul Storiale) conducted Council business in an uncivil and disrespectful manner at a public board meeting because he chastized and behemently disagreed when I expressed an opinion about item 13 on our September board agenda.  Specificially, when I mentioned that the business owner had agreed to comply to our committees rules in order to obtain a letter of support, Mr. Storiale proceeded to raise his voice in an angry manner, told me to stop speaking and mischaracterized my statement as discouraging discussion between Board members.

I would suggest some type of anger management training be done to de-escalate the President uncivil and unprompted outburts.  Board members should not be treated in such a disrespectful manner and silenced when attempting to engage in their duties as Committee Members and as Board members.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
