Westlake South Neighborhood Council is committed to improve the quality of life of our residents by improving traffic and parking conditions, beautifying our streets, addressing resident displacement, addressing alcohol outlets and by providing resources to our community. Our goal is to reinforce the safety of our family oriented community.
1. Improve the quality of life in Westlake South by improving parking conditions

3. Establish traffic light or lighted cross walk at the intersection of Bonnie Brae and James M. Wood
4. Provide legal, health and resource fairs for our community

1. Improve parking conditions by providing a plan of action by our Parking Committee to
our council district.
2. Beautify our streets by scheduling clean ups and collaborating with local business
owners.  
3. Establishing a traffic light or lighted pathway at the corner of Bonnie Brae and James M. Wood to ensure the safety of the children who attend the Peace and Hope Park by collaborating with our council district and the LADOT.  
4. Provide resource fairs by partnering with UCLA, Loyola Law School and local Non- Profits.
5. Address the displacement of our residents via impact statements to our city council and mayor and by providing legal workshops.
6. Address the overconcentration of alcohol outlets by writing to our council district and the Alcoholic Beverages Control by analyzing the number of alcohol licenses per census tract.
7. Improve stakeholder attendance for meetings and events by investing in signs, online publicity, phone banking and outreach events.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
