Granada Hills North Neighborhood Council expects to expand on its outreach activities in an effort to continue to be a leader in communicating with its stakeholders as well as continue to be responsive to the needs and wants of our community.
1)    Partner with the VANC to identify how we can help promote a better environment.
2)    Work on issues or actions that will affect the homeless in our community.
3)    Continue to participate in community events and enlist stakeholders to get involved with us.
4)    Work more with other Neighborhood Councils, alliances, and continue to promote the community events we have been affiliated with, including the LAPD, Fire Department, Emergency preparedness Fair, as well as stepping up our outreach activities to the community to inform them of our availability and desire to work for them.
1)    There has been a considerable difficulty getting started in this year due to DONE not being able to support our ability to utilize the funds provided.  This must change for we will not be able to achieve any of our goals without much difficulty.
2)    We still need to get more stakeholder involvement in both activities and communication.
3)    While we do not have many businesses in our community we still need to reach out to get them more involved or to just identify any issues they may have that we could address
4)    We will be looking to improve the board participation in activities and input on issues and ideas.
5)    It is always necessary to continue looking for ways to be more efficient in the handling of our affairs.  This includes communication with the public as well as the finances we are responsible to use wisely.  Better knowledge of how we are using these funds will improve the way we handle decision on spending the available funds.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
