Outreach is our vision we will accomplish this goal by:  Attending and outreaching at community venues.  This year we have allocated $8,000 to promote our council. Develop a brochure and marketing materials, attend school, church, nonprofit, business, park and recreation, senior citizen, chamber, alumni events to promote, the Lincoln Heights NC. Organizing cleanup with our Councilmember, and other agencies in our community.  Work with our local business partners to clean and improve the beautification of the N.Broadway Corridor. Develop venues in the 7 elected area, where we can get the opportunity meet our stakeholders and provide City,Federal, State, County information as well as “Why it is Important to Participate in CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.The board members serving that area will develop a venue to meet, greet and educate their stakeholders. Some of the venues include, cleanups, coffee with your board members, meetings at local schools, churches, nonprofits. Continue to present to our community the events that carry a tradition in our community such as: Holiday Tree Lighting, “Honoring Our Veterans, Holiday Parade/Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, and this year we plan to coordinate with the high school to promote a Safety/Health/Art/Fair.  We will continue to promote CERT Training. We will continue to meet with our local officials on Homeless, Development, Safety, Health and Education issues. This last year we finally hired a WEB DESIGNER Constant Contact.
We will file 3 Compact Impact Statement on issues that affect our community and our surrounding communities.
We will partner with a non profit group (Madres de la Tierra) and submit for the Clean Streets LA Challenge Project.
Will partner with a Neighborhood Council Alliance on a project such as Emergency Prepaedness 
We will work with The Business Improvement Development and the Lincoln Heights Chamber of Commerce on the beautification along N.Broadway.
We will continue to educate partner with our schools, parent centers in recruiting and training volunteers to assist with our many projects and to promote citizen partrcipation.
We will work on venues that will give us the opportunity to meet our stakeholders in our 7 areas.
Lincoln Heights turns 100 years old in 2017-we will work on recognizing our community by our elected officials by educating our stakeholders on our history, improvements, and the future of Lincoln Heights.
We will continue to build our DATA BASE-adding $1,000 this year with a new WEB PAGE Look and adding constant contact.
We will revisit our budget January 17, 2017 consider strategizing for the 2018 elections

2. We have made a list of all our organizations and groups in our community-will continue to meet with them and support their programs, as well as ours.  We will continue to work with our elected officials.  We have a list of volunteers with emails that continue to support our many venues.
3  We will continue to attend community venues, such as church events, Boys and Girls Club, Alumni Association, Lincoln Heights Chamber of Commerce, Dollars For Scholars, Brewery Art Council meetings, high school, middle and elementary school venues and meetings. Attend the Business Improvement meetings and support our local Farmers Market.  Support the Plaza De La Raza and their children’s programs by attending their venues and volunteering.
4.  Attend surrounding Neighborhood Council-exchange ideas, work on strategies to recruit more stakeholders on issues that affect their community.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
