To continue to promote citizen participation in government and make government more responsive to our stakeholders’ needs and interests.
1) Increase citizen participation in local government. 2) Continue to improve our digital presence to connect with stakeholders. 3) Continue our partnership with other community organizations and expand our network. 4) Participate in more public events to better connect with stakeholders. 5) Develop a “government guide” for our revamped website that promotes the Neighborhood Council and community involvement.
1) Continue our work as intermediary between stakeholders and local government. 2) Improve email newsletter, continue to increase social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and NextDoor. 3) Continue to hold combined events with local organizations and other councils. 4) Maintain presence at monthly NoHo Artwalk, weekly Farmers Market, and other community events. 5) Review other councils’ work on government guides to create one that reflects needs and interests of our community with the goal of a downloadable PDF for residents.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quick Base often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quick Base finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quick Base needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
