The following changes were also made to clarify and correct the internal boundaries to Regions 2, 4, and 10:

Region 2: Old language said western boundary was Lafayette Rd when it is actually West Blvd., the street separating Region 2 and Region 4. Language changed to:
N: Venice Boulevard
S: Washington Boulevard
E: Crenshaw Boulevard
W: West Boulevard

Region 4: Old language said the northern boundary is Venice and omitted the portion of the MINC boundaries that extends up to Pico. Language changed to:
N: Pico Boulevard from West Boulevard, continuing west to Highland Avenue, continuing south on Highland Avenue to Venice Boulevard, continuing west on Venice Boulevard to La Brea Avenue
S: Washington Boulevard
E: West Boulevard
W: La Brea Avenue

Region 10: Language was changed to something similar to the overall boundaries to include the area extending to the Culver City border. Language changed to:
N: Venice Boulevard
S: Culver City border starting at La Cienega Boulevard to the north wall of the Rosa Parks/10 Freeway continuing east to Venice Blvd./10 Freeway.
 E: Ridgeley Drive
W: La Cienega Boulevard between Venice Boulevard and the Culver City border.

In addition to these corrections, we also made sure to recognize the shared space between Olympic Park Neighborhood Council and MINC to make sure the bylaws are consistent. That language reads as follows:

Shared Assets with Olympic Park Neighborhood Council:
Los Angeles Unified School District (1406 S Highland Ave); and
Los Angeles Police Department Wilshire Division Community Police Station (4861 Venice Blvd)

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
